- Learn how to navigate and manipulate objects in the 3D workspace.
- Set up a basic game environment and save projects properly for future development.
Tuesday
Students will…
- Master essential building tools to create platforms, structures, and obstacles.
- Learn about parts, materials, colors, and collision settings to design a stable game world.
- Use anchoring and grouping to keep game elements in place and organized.
Wednesday
Students will…
- Design challenging obstacles using ramps, jumps, and moving platforms.
- Create conveyor belts that push players forward or backward.
- Add bouncy trampolines for exciting jumps using properties like velocity and elasticity.
Thursday
Students will…
- Learn the basics of Lua scripting to bring objects to life.
- Code killblocks that reset players when touched.
- Create disappearing and reappearing stairs using timers and visibility properties.
Friday
Students will…
- Apply all learned skills in a group project to design and expand upon the Obby game.
- Emphasize collaboration, creativity, and applying development concepts.
- Present activity to the group, sharing achievements and learning experiences.
